Charice’ new dream house is just one of the many fruits of hard work and perseverance. Aside from the material and practical, there’s now the International fame, popularity and most of all respect.
The petty ridicule that Charice went through in the past, am sure, will continue. No, the dream house as may have been implied in SNN 3rd installment would not be able to deflect such. Yes, there are those types of people where they find it hard to be happy for someone else because they are such a failure that they need to trash somebody else. And yes, the world is very real indeed. However, the big difference this time is that this ridicule would just be a mere anoyment like a fly buzzing around or an itch wanting to be scratched. Charice has already broken free and beyond this. She’s definitely looking ahead in the horizon of the many more great possibilities in store for her.

Unfortunately, there will always be those people/crabs who will want to pull others down, to commiserate with them, but she has learned the hard way to just ignore them and concentrate on bettering herself. In her interviews, she consistently refuses to disparage her naysayers and oppressors, and even thanks them so she can better herself. She has real character and class, and is a perfect role model for children.
I would want to ask Charice though, how she would define success. It is all too easy to attempt to measure this by the material things one can buy in this world. What is more difficult to measure, but far more enduring, are the lives one has affected, by inspiring them and uplifting their spirits, or directly helping them materially. As well, the material things would just invite envy and give fodder to the crabs of this world. If her example would be a lesson to the crabs of this world and subsequently reduce their numbers, then that would be an unqualified success.
