You are gonna be blown away! Ellen said when she introduced Charice on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, appearing for the first time on US national television. Oprah said Goosebumps! and A Wower! when Charice debuted on The Oprah Winfrey Show. And now, after Charice sang live the club version of Pyramid on Keep On Dancin’ 2010, I say, She’ll leave you at the edge of your seat!
(from ballads, to pop/rnb, and now to…)
Charice core type of songs are ballads — from Celine Dion, to Whitney Houston, to Mariah Carey and, just lately, to Lara Fabian too. But in her debut International album she’s now singing Pop/RnB songs. No problem at all in the shift. Remixed songs though are of another type. I have thought that remixed versions were only meant to be played where people dance to its up-beat and fast tune, and not meant to be performed with live vocals.
Well, Charice just did it, nailed it and she left me at the edge of my seat from start to finish! It was such a cliffhanger feat and to think that this was also the first time she sang this song live.
