18 year old Filipina singer, Charice Pempengco enters the Billboard 200 Albums at No. 8, after selling 43,000 copies of her self titled US debut album. The 18 year old vocal powerhouse visited both “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and QVC last week.

Charice’s No. 8 debut on the Billboard 200 Albums is the first ever for a solo Filipino artist. The first cut off the album, “Pyramid feat. Iyaz” peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Dance Songs.
