Glee’s lead star, Lea Michele, and creator, Ryan Murphy, has this in common to share about Charice upon meeting and hearing her in person. They were just so taken by Charice. Ryan Murphy even said these same words in an interview to describe the experience.
'In This Song' - Song Charice sang to Ryan Murphy
Ryan Murphy already knew of Charice from Oprah prior to meeting her. He also had seen clips from the show with her singing. But, one of the producers of Glee had heard of her and met with her. So, he too had to. She came in and she was so tiny and cute said Ryan Murphy. He thought that they were just going to be introduced. But then, she sang and angels flew out, he said. And, he was so touched that he just had to write something for her on Glee, a recurring role of an Asian exchange student who’s going to be Lea Michele’s rival.
Lea Michele asked about Charice being on Glee
Just recently, when Glee resumed shooting for its second season, Lea Michele too has met Charice on set and said in an interview at a press party in Santa Monica Pier, “She is the teeniest, most wee person I have ever seen in my life and she is so darling and she’s so sweet.” But after a few days when they sang together on set, Lea Michele was so overcome with glee that she tweeted the world, “Singing on set with @officialcharice today! So much fun! How does all that sound come out of someone so small! So happy she’s on our show ”
