After spending the Holiday Season abroad, Charice flew back to her home country for back-to-back endorsement concerts for Aficionado Germany Perfume and Enchanted Kingdom theme park last weekend, January 8th and 9th, respectively.

Charice arrived Saturday morning, with the Aficionado concert and fashion show, entitled 1@11, starting 7pm at the SM Mall of Asia concert grounds.

Joel Cruz, dubbed as the local Lord of Scents, negotiated this endorsement with Charice for a year before she finally agreed, to which he didn’t mind because he was a long time fan of her anyway. He also added that putting up the high tab for getting her would be worth it.

The crowd numbering to 75,000 trooped to the concert and fashion show which by the way wasn’t a freebie. The ticket denominations were Php 4,000 (VIP), Php 3,000 (Gold), Php 2,000 (Green), Php 1,000 (Platinum), and Php500 (came with a purchase of perfume).

The waiting took more than 3-and-half hours before Charice was introduced on-stage by Gary Valenciano, a fellow singer endorser that night who performed more than 10 songs lasting an hour — not counting the duet with her on her first song.

The crowd went wild and chanted Charice’ name at first sight on-stage. And, just under 20 minutes, she closed the show in 5 songs. She sang 3 original songs from her International debut album (‘Pyramid’, ‘In This Song’, ‘Reset’), and 2 cover songs (‘All By Myself’ and a medley of Top 40 hits).

The crowd was screaming and wanted more. But, she didn’t oblige. However, as a consolation, she plugged her upcoming return on Glee as Sunshine Corazon in 5 to 7 more episodes in it’s current season. She bid goodbye and she was done for the day.

Just one more endorsement the next day at Enchanted Kingdom and she was out of the country immediately after, heading back to the US once more.
